NOMINATED FOR A NORWEGIAN GRAMMY (SPELLEMANNSPRISEN)
Beginning with classical piano at the age of 7, Norwegian composer and producer Jan-Henrik Kulberg has lived a life with music, also teaching himself how to play guitar, harmonica and several other instruments.
« I have spent many years playing the great classical composers, and I still have the sheet for Debussy's Clair De Lune, given to me by my late grandmother, on my studio note stand, as well as her old upright piano in my living room».
Jan-Henrik Kulberg composes instrumental music in different genres for production music libraries both in the U.S and Europe, and for his own label Macmanus. In 2022 he released the album «Feel the Qi» after practicing Qigong for several years.
Using the alter ego Felix Johansen he has also released 7 solo-albums, several EP's and singles with his own songs, regularly heard on Norwegian radio, and performed on festivals and stages all across Southern-Norway, as well as on national TV.
In 2006 he was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy - for a children's album with fellow Norwegian artists Veslemøy Solberg and Sven Ohrvik.
